Directed by the URI filmmaker, Aditya Dhar, the film is scheduled for December 5 release. Ahead of the release, the makers are set to unveil the film’s trailer at a grand launch event tomorrow. When and where will the Dhurandhar trailer launch?
The Dhurandhar trailer launch event will take place at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) on Tuesday and will be attended by Ranveer Singh, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, director Aditya Dhar, and producers Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar. The trailer was earlier supposed to come out on November 14 but was delayed given the Red Fort blasts and Dharmendra’s health concerns.
Cast and character poster
Reportedly inspired by real-life incidents, global conflicts, and RAW’s covert operations, the makers also shared striking character posters introducing the ensemble cast: Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna as “The Apex Predator”, Sanjay Dutt as “The Jinn”, R Madhavan as “The Charioteer of Karma”, and Arjun Rampal as “The Angel of Death”.
While the official character names have not yet been disclosed, the one-liners accompanying the posters offered intriguing glimpses into each character’s persona. In July, the team also released a short first-look teaser featuring Ranveer and the rest of the principal cast.
Sharing the teaser on Instagram, Ranveer Singh wrote, “An inferno will rise. Uncover the true story of the Unknown Men,” along with the film’s release date: 5 December.
Runtime of Dhurandhar
According to Bollywood Hungama, the provisional runtime of Dhurandhar is 185 minutes—that is, 3 hours and 5 minutes. However, the final duration will be locked by the filmmakers within the next 10 days.
Between Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani and Dhurandhar, Ranveer Singh had several projects lined up, many of which were eventually shelved—including Rakshas with Prasanth Varma and Don 3 with Farhan Akhtar. He was also expected to star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Birju Bawra. However, there have been no updates on that film, especially with Bhansali currently focused on his project Love & War, featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal.
