Show creator Steven Knight has returned to write the screenplay, with Stephen Graham, Ned Dennehy, Sophie Rundle, Ian Peck and Packy Lee also back to star. Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Roth and Jay Lycurgo join the ensemble.

Murphy recently opened up about his reasons for returning to the franchise, telling The Observer: “We got a really good script, and I have a sense of duty to the fans because, in many ways, they made the show the success that it is. It’s a proper bookend to the whole 36 hours of television.”
