As the espionage drama Dhurandhar continues its strong run at the box office and builds anticipation for its sequel, Bollywood stars are weighing in on the film’s impact. On February 14, actor Ranbir Kapoor shared his thoughts on Ranveer Singh’s latest release during an Instagram Live session.

Ranbir was interacting with fans on the Instagram handle of his lifestyle brand ARKS — as he does not maintain a personal Instagram account — when he was asked about the last film he watched in theatres. “It was Dhurandhar. Absolutely loved that film. The entire cast and crew smashed it. Really good times at the movies,” he said, praising the film’s execution and its ensemble.
His comments come as the film directed by Aditya Dhar continues to break ground at the box office and in audience conversations. Since its December 2025 release, Dhurandhar has drawn significant viewer interest and discussion for its intense storytelling, strong performances, and historical elements.

In a social media note shared by her production house, Bhatt described Dhurandhar as “the voice of today’s India,” highlighting its cultural resonance and box office success. “It’s the choice of today’s India. It’s based on a chapter in history. And now it’s the number one chapter in India’s cinema history,” the statement read, celebrating the film’s impact and the work of the cast and crew.
The ensemble cast of Dhurandhar, led by Ranveer Singh, also features Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and Sara Arjun in key roles. The film’s ensemble performances and scale have been widely discussed by critics and audiences alike since its release.
