The first film, Dhurandhar, had an extraordinary run at the global box office after its release in December 2025. The film turned into a massive blockbuster and crossed the impressive milestone of Rs 1000 crore worldwide, bringing huge celebrations for the cast and the entire team behind the project.

Following the phenomenal success of the original movie, audiences have been eagerly waiting to see what happens next in the story. Now, the excitement is about to reach a new level as Dhurandhar Part 2 is set to arrive in theatres very soon.

DHURANDHAR 2 OVERVIEW: RELEASE DATE, PLOT CAT & OTHER KEY DETAILS

Dhurandhar The Revenge is scheduled for a theatrical release on March 19, raising excitement among moviegoers who have been waiting to see the next chapter of the spy thriller. Interestingly, the film was initially expected to face strong competition at the box office from Yash’s upcoming pan-Indian project Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups.

However, the makers of the Yash-starrer recently postponed its release to June, clearing the way for the sequel to enjoy a major solo run in theatres.

Unlike the first instalment, which released only in India, Dhurandhar 2 is being released on a much bigger scale. The makers have planned a grand pan-Indian release and will present the film in multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.

The film is produced by Aditya Dhar along with Lokesh Dhar and Jyoti Deshpande. The story once again focuses on a dangerous counter-terror mission, where an undercover Indian agent crosses the border and enters Pakistan to penetrate Karachi’s powerful political and criminal networks.

The first film concluded with a dramatic moment when Hamza eliminated Rehmat Dakait. The upcoming sequel will pick up the story from that point and continue the mission. However, the journey will not be easy for the lead character. Hamza, also known as Jaskirat Singh Rangi, will face new dangers, powerful enemies, and bigger challenges in the next phase of the operation.
