According to Toshihiro Mibe, Honda Motor Co., Ltd.’s Director, President and Representative, the company is finalizing plans for India’s passenger vehicle market. This decision comes amid global automotive shifts and the rise of Chinese OEMs. Honda intends to focus more keenly on India, drawing lessons from its two-wheeler success in the country.

The launch strategy involves locally produced and global premium products, with a comprehensive range of powertrains including ICE, hybrid, and full electric. Production plans include the next-gen EV Honda 0 Alpha, with India as both a production hub and export base for Asian markets.
