The Yotsuba Succession Arc from Irregular at Magic High School is a major part of the narrative that revolves around theinternal struggle for leadership of the powerful Yotsuba Clan. The Yotsuba Clan is one of the Ten Master Clans that dominate magic politics throughout the series.

The series spans over three televised seasons (including the Visitor Arc, Reminiscence Arc, and Double Seven Arc), in total, which first aired on April 6, 2014, and one movie, The Irregular at Magic High School: The Movie – The Girl Who Summons the Stars, which came out on June 5, 2017, for the region of Tokyo and Osaka, and on June 17, 2017, for the rest of Japan.
