The upcoming Michael Jackson biopic has travelled a long road, but we finally have our first look at the film, which introduces Jaafar Jackson as his world-famous uncle.

Lionsgate has released the first teaser, which may be only 60 seconds, but does enough to whet the appetite of fans who have been waiting months following the film’s multiple delays.

Even the teaser acknowledges this, opening with, “I know you’ve been waiting a long time for this,” before launching into a rhythmic montage of the sound booth getting set for Michael.

We even get a taste of the music in the teaser, which previews many beloved Jackson songs.
