New Delhi: Himanshu Tandon, who was leading Xiaomi-owned Poco in India, has resigned and is expected to join smartphone maker Nothing, Moneycontrol reported on Friday.

Tandon, a founding member of Poco, took charge of its India business in 2022 and reported to Sandeep Singh Arora, Xiaomi India’s chief business officer. His exit marks the second senior-level departure at Xiaomi India. Last year, president Muralikrishnan B resigned from the company.

Tandon’s departure comes as Xiaomi is facing declining shipments and market share in the Indian market. The company’s total shipments, including Poco, dropped 25 per cent year-on-year to 5 million units in Q2 2025, with its market share falling from 18 per cent to 13 per cent, according to Canalys.

Tandon is expected to take charge of CMF, a sub-brand of Nothing.

London-based Nothing, reported 229 per cent year-on-year growth in Q2, driven by products such as the CMF Phone 2 Pro, Phone 3a, and Phone 3a Pro.
