Hero MotoCorp, Eicher Motors, Jio Financial Services, Sun Pharma, Shriram Finance, Bajaj Auto and Bharti Airtel–trading between 0.7 per cent and 1.7 per cent higher–are among the top gainers in the Nifty50 basket, mere minutes into the opening bell.
On the other hand, HCLTech is the top blue-chip loser, trading 2.7 per cent lower, a day after the IT major reported a weak set of quarterly numbers.
Eternal, Cipla, SBI Life, Tata Steel and Dr Reddy’s are also among the 11 losers in the blue-chip basket.
