Actor Tamannaah Bhatia, who began her film career at just 15, has built a long and successful journey across industries over the past two decades. Alongside her acting work, she recently expanded her portfolio by launching her fine jewellery business, reflecting a growing focus on financial planning and entrepreneurship.

Tamannaah Bhatia on why actors risk losing their wealth despite earning big
In a recent conversation with CNBC-TV18, Tamannaah spoke candidly about the unpredictable nature of the film industry and the importance of managing earnings wisely. She explained that while actors may earn substantial amounts during peak phases of their careers, failing to invest or grow that income can create long-term financial risks.
“My father took care of my finances then. He still supports and guides me but at that tender age, when I needed it the most, I had my parents looking into my finances,” she said.
Tamannaah mentions that for actors, it’s common to make a lot of money consistently. However, if they don’t save it at the right time or find ways to multiply it, they might realize there’s not much left . She emphasizes the importance of a balanced portfolio for investments.
Reflecting on the industry’s uncertain dynamics, Tamannaah noted that financial awareness is essential for longevity, as success in films does not always guarantee sustained income. Her own journey, she indicated, has increasingly involved learning to make strategic decisions about investments and diversification beyond cinema.
The actor’s comments come at a time when more film personalities are turning toward entrepreneurship, brand ventures and business investments to secure financial stability alongside their creative careers.
