Zack Snyder’s ‘Hot Lesbian Action’ Movie Gets First Details

Zack Snyder is reportedly making a “hot lesbian action” movie with comedian and Army of the Dead star Tig Notaro.

What do we know about Zack Snyder’s “Hot Lesbian Action” movie?

Notaro recently appeared on the podcast On With Kara Swisher. During the conversation, Notaro spoke about working with Snyder on Netflix’s Army of the Dead. Notaro joined the film as a replacement for Chris D’Elia after he was accused of sexual misconduct. Snyder erased D’Elia from the movie and filmed Notaro’s scenes using CGI and a green screen.

Despite having a smaller role, Notaro was surprised to learn her character became popular for her looks.

“I go viral for being sexy in this film,” she said. “And it was so unexpected. My phone’s exploding. I’m not walking around going, ‘Oh my God. Check me out . . .” Notaro said. “I was so confused.”

According to Notaro, the positive reception to her appearance spawned an idea for another action movie.

“I called Zack, and I said, ‘I’m hearing it from straight men, gay men, gay women, and straight women that they think I’m hot in this movie. What if we just went for it and everyone’s a hot lesbian?’” Notaro said. “He was like, ‘Oh my God, yes, let’s make that movie.’ And so who knows? It’s a Hollywood project. We’re in the process of putting the script together. Picture this poster: We have the name of the film, and then it says ‘Hot Lesbian Action.’ Come on. That’s how I sold him on the Zoom.”

As for the movie’s name, Notaro already has that picked out, too.

“The movie is called ‘Deviants,’ and takes place back in some old-timey days, like some closeted deviants,” Notaro added.

Deviants is still in development. It has no release date or distribution.
