Saif Ali Khan’s latest Bollywood film, Kartvya, has been a talking point on the internet ever since its release on Netflix. Be it the weak plotline or Saurabh Dwivedi’s casting as a villain, the movie has been making the headlines ever since. However, now, actor Yudhvir Ahlawat has left the internet users curious as he surpasses Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, and many other Bollywood celebrities by gaining popularity and topping the IMDb Star List.

For those who don’t know, Yudhvir essayed the role of a Haryanvi boy, Harpal, in the movie, who faces mental and physical abuse and is pushed to commit murder, for whom Khan’s cop character takes on the entire system. Well, unlike many who had believed him to be a child artist, he is a 33-year-old man. He is currently trending on the internet for surpassing Vijay, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jr NTR, and Shah Rukh Khan, emerging as the most popular star on IMDb.

It is to be noted that Kartavya is not Ahlawat’s first rodeo. Having been doing theatre for nearly a decade now, he has also been associated with director Feroz Abbas Khan’s grand play Mughal-e-Azam: The Musical. He has performed in theatres and plays, nationally as well as internationally.

Yudhvir made his big screen debut with Bhumi Pednekar and Taapsee Pannu’s film Saand Ki Aankh, having essayed the role of Chandro Tomar’s son. He went on to work in Ranbir Kapoor’s Shamshera and Bobby Deol, Vikrant Massey, and Sanya Malhotra starrer Love Hostel.

Belonging to a village in Jhajjar, Haryana, he is the son of Gyan Singh Ahlawat, who served in the Border Security Force. His innocent face and shorter height make it easy for the filmmakers to cast him in youth roles.

For those who don’t know, the number of visits to Yudhvir Ahlawat’s IMDb profile has increased since his appearance in Kartavya. He went on to surpass Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who ranked at the number three position after the Cannes Film Festival 2026 visit, Thalapathy Vijay, who ranked at the fourth position after becoming the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Jr NTR, who was at the 24th position, and Shah Rukh Khan. The list is said to feature Indian stars trending worldwide, including actors, directors, cinematographers, and writers.
